What is Propolis?

Propolis is a brown resinous substance collected by honeybees from tree buds, used by them to fill crevices and to fix and varnish honeycombs. It has a 5000-year history and was even used by the Assyrians, the Egyptians and the Greeks. It offers antiseptic, antibiotic, antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral properties.
